Day 2 Guided city tour of Madrid – Visit a Bullring – Guided city tour of Toledo – Visit a Sword factory
We proceed for a Guided city tour of Madrid: Visit the largest bullring of Madrid – Las Ventas Plaza De Torros, see the old town, the city centre, church of San Francisco El Grande, the fountains of Paseo del Prado, Atocha station, and many more historical and modern sites. Next, we drive to Toledo. On arrival, we enjoy a guided tour: see the cathedral of Toledo, Puente San Martin, important squares and narrow winding cobblestone streets. Next, we visit a Sword factory. Overnight in Madrid, Spain. (B, D)
Day 3 Visit Salamanca – Onto Porto
Salamanca. Known as the “Golden city” for the sandstone used in the construction of its buildings, it has the third oldest existing university in the world, one of the Top 10 cathedrals in Spain, and one of the most beautiful plazas in all of Spain. On arrival we proceed on an Orientation of Salamanca. Next, we continue our journey to Porto in Lisbon. Overnight in Porto, Portugal. (B, D)
Day 4 Guided tour of Porto – Visit Fatima – Onto Lisbon
Enjoy a guided city tour Porto. World-famous for its port wine, Porto is Portugal’s second largest city. The historic centre of Porto was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996. Next, we proceed to Fatima, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the world. On arrival, we proceed on an orientation tour of Fatima and visit the Fatima Shrine – the Basilica and Chapel of the Apparitions.(Shorts and Sleeveless not allowed). Later, we drive to Lisbon. Overnight in Lisbon, Portugal. (B, D)
Day 5 Visit Cabo da Roca – Guided city tour of Lisbon
Visit the town of Sinatra and also visit Cabo da Roca – Western most end of the European continent. Then we proceed for a guided city tour Lisbon, see Praca do Comercio, Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoveries, 25th April Bridge etc. Overnight in Lisbon, Portugal. (B, D)
Day 7 Guided city tour of Cordoba – Visit Mesquita
Drive to Cordoba and visit Mezquita. The Mosque– Cathedral of Córdoba, officially known as the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption is a former Islamic mosque and a UNESCO world heritage site. Next, we drive to Costa Del Sol. On arrival, we visit Puerto banus. Overnight in Costa Del Sol, Spain. (B, D)
Day 8 Granada – Guided tour of Alhambra Complex and Generalife Gardens
Today, we drive to Valencia. On arrival, we enjoy a guided city tour: See the Plaza Reina, the stunning Cathedral, the central market and more. Also, see the City of Arts & Sciences, one of the more recent architectural landmarks of Valencia. Overnight in Valencia, Spain. (B, D)
Day 10 Guided city tour of Barcelona – Visit Sagrada Familia
On arrival at Barcelona, we enjoy a guided city tour: See the Olympic Village, Montjuic, Placa de Catalunya, and many more beautiful sights. Later, we visit the Sagrada Familia – the yet unfinished minor basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Barcelona, Spain. (B, D) Note: Entrance to Sagrada Familia depends upon the availability given by the Sagrada Familia officials and may not necessarily be done on this day. In such cases, the itinerary will be amended accordingly to cover all inclusions.
Day 11 Visit Montserrat Today, we drive to Montserrat – a multi peaked rocky range which houses the virgin of and Spain’s first national park. Next, we drive back to Barcelona and spend some free time at La Rambla – the famous tree-lined central avenue of Barcelona with cafes and souvenir shops. Later, spend some free time at Barcelona beach. Overnight in Barcelona, Spain. (B, D)
Day 12 Return back home with pleasant memories!
Today, we proceed to Barcelona airport on your own for your flight back home. Kindly spare a few minutes to share your feedback with your Tour Manager.
